Network for Good Introduces Donations Through Interactive Brokers

Network for Good Receives G2 Annual “Best Software” Award

Clients of Interactive Brokers now able to make donations through the IMPACT App

WASHINGTON, DC – November 5, 2021 – Network for Good, a leading provider of fundraising software for nonprofits, today announced that Interactive Brokers Group (Nasdaq: IBKR), a global brokerage firm and the Barron’s-rated #1 online broker four years in a row, will facilitate donations via Network for Good’s disbursement platform. Clients of Interactive Brokers are now able to donate to non-profit organizations through the GIVE feature available on IMPACT, the company’s mobile sustainable trading application.

“This announcement with Interactive Brokers is exciting for two reasons,” said Network for Good’s Chief Executive Officer, Bill Strathmann. “We are glad to be able to welcome Interactive Brokers to the Network for Good family, given the company’s legendary reputation in the online brokerage sector. Additionally, we are always pleased to align ourselves with an organization that shares our belief in harnessing the powers of business and technology as forces for good.”

IBKR GIVE enables clients of Interactive Brokers to align their IMPACT values with non-profit organizations and make cash donations directly from the IMPACT App, a mobile trading application designed to help investors shape the future they wish to see. Using a comprehensive directory of U.S. charities and non-profit organizations from GuideStar by Candid, IMPACT gives users the opportunity to easily donate to a charity matching their values or search for a non-profit of their choice. This feature is only available to U.S. clients.

“When a donor makes a gift to a small- or medium-sized nonprofit it can make all the difference in helping that organization achieve its mission,” Strathmann adds. “Our priority is helping those hardworking and mission-driven nonprofits achieve more, and this collaboration is our latest way of making that happen.”

“We are pleased to work with Network for Good and help connect our clients with the non-profit organizations that they support through our leading technology offerings,” said Edward Soffer, ESG Manager at Interactive Brokers. “We recognize that many investors are increasingly seeking a means to express their values through their financial investments, and our collaboration with Network for Good reinforces our commitment to bring philanthropic and investing objectives together.”

Interactive Brokers joins Network for Good’s growing portfolio of collaborators which includes Google/Youtube, Facebook, Patagonia, Every.org, and Candid, as well as numerous foundations responsible for disbursing hundreds of millions of dollars in annual donations.
